My Mom, sister Leigh and I moved into our new home in July not realizing just how bad the electrical system was. We have been going through a lot with losing several family members over the last 3 years so when we found out just had bad things were, we were overwhelmed and scared as we didn't have anyway to pay only about 80% upfront. They were kind and considerate and worked with us so we will have heat to survive this coming winter. I am NOT being over dramatic but am stating facts. We didn't have a way to heat our home until they came and replace the basement panel and upgraded our 100 amp service to a 200 amp service. They have been a tremendous blessing to us and want to thank them for the compassionate treatment to us. Thanks ever so much. ~ Jerri M

Hey yall, you won't believe this! I called Discount Electrical Service of Murfreesboro after my daughter came into my room last night and shared none of her lights were working. I immediately went to the electrical box and went to the box, appeared to turn it on but it didn't work. I got up this morning and to focus myself and calm down, I did some retail therapy. I came home, looked up electrical services and reached Ron on the phone. After explaining, he told me to go to the box and follow his instructions. I did as he instructed, and the power came back on. It didn't cost me one red cent. What a heck of a guy, what integrity and amazing service. I will be calling for all my future electrical needs. These guys were amazing! The person I’d originally hired canceled on me a half hour before the 8am job, and these guys made it to me that same morning shortly after I called them. I bought a house a few months ago that some missing gfis, and several outlets and switches that didn’t work, and I also needed some new outdoor and crawl space outlets installed. When they were working on that they ended up finding exposed wire the sellers were supposed to have taken care of but didn’t, some really weird dangerous DIY wiring, annnd that the breaker didn’t trip like it should, so they then also covered the exposed wiring, redid all my outlets and switches, and replaced the suuuuper old panel. And they got a fan wired and put up, too. They were so sweet, I feel much safer now, and I am SO GRATEFUL. ~ Clara F

I needed some electrical repairs for my mom’s house and I was very pleased with the service from Ron and Milo of Discount Electrical Service. I received an appointment date/time as soon as I contacted the company and they actually were able to arrive early. During the entire visit, Ron and Milo explained every step they were taking to repair and restore the electricity to my mom’s home. Ron explained pricing after a brief inspection of the issue and they were able to identify the issue. The pricing was fair and reasonable. Quality, fast, electrical service in Murfreesboro Tennessee. I needed to run 240v to my garage for woodworking tools. After waiting two weeks for missed appointments and calls with another company, I called Ron at Discount Electrical Service. His employee, also Ron, showed up at the appointed time, THE NEXT DAY, and did a great job. I had a clear estimate. He was pleasant, clean, and quick. Dave came by and did a brilliant job fixing our issue! We had an entire wall where the outlets didn't work and discovered through a bit of discovery an entire wire was not connected to the breaker from evidently another time work was done here at the house! He also made our little girl's room safe by putting the proper switch to the wall because the wrong one was attached, The fan was flickering and the dimmer switch was incorrectly added on a prior install. Discount Electrical Services just recently came out to my house to rework the lighting and outlets in my down stairs game room. This has been a long awaited portion of my remodel. I have had more than one electrician come out and look at the job. Discount electrical came out gave me a solid bid, they were on time and finished in the time they had agreed upon. My wife and I recently acquired a infrared sauna and had to modifications to it and a wall plug to get it to work. Well, after I failed in my attempt to be a “Mr. Fix-it”, my wife contacted Discount Electrical Service. They did an awesome job. From the beginning when they arrived to evaluate the situation and quote me a price, Ron and Joe were knowledgeable, courteous, and explained everything so even I could understand it to explain to my wife. They were about 10min early when they returned to fix our electrical situation and were done in a timely manner. I mean they had to drill a hole in my outside wall, run a wire from one side of my house to the opposite side through my crawl space that’s no taller than 2ft in height, and wire and add a new breaker to my box outside. Then once they did that, they respliced the electrical cord coming from the sauna to correct what I did wrong. (Ha Ha!!) And all that was done in less that 2hrs. I would highly recommend Discount Electrical Service to all who have electrical needs. Don’t hesitate to call them. I will use them again definitely. ~ Eric F

The Rons helped us create a safer and much more efficient environment in the older home we recently purchased. They returned phone calls within an hour or so of my initial inquiry. They came out the same afternoon and looked over the job to give me a quote. There were many issues I was not aware of that were pointed out to me, but at no time did anyone pressure me to add to the job.
